DIY Bottle Garland 📿

This is a quick and easy craft you can make for less than $20! Once you make one you'll want to make more!

Here's a quick list of what you'll need!

  • One Container Of Wood Beads (I got mine at Michaels)

  • Twine or String

  • Scissors

  • Paint

  • Paint Brush

  • Hot Glue Gun or Super Glue

  • Paint

Gather your supplies, protect your work surface and let's get started!

I started out by painting a few beads in the color, Vintage Cupcake by Country Chic Paint. However you could use any paint you want, or just leave unfinished. Allow them to dry while we start assembling our bottle garland.

String your beads on your twine, I chose to do 17 beads, because that's the length I wanted for my bottle. Make sure you leave about 10"+ of length for each on each end of the twine past your beads.

Next you want to tie a double knot with your ends. Don't cut the tails off yet, we'll need them for our next steps.

Now add your painted beads through both tails ends of the twine we just double knotted.

Now well work on our tassle end. Take some new twine and wrap it around the palm of your hand several times. Maybe 15-20 until it seems thick enough. Now carefully slip off your palm, keeping the loop of twine intact.

Inset the loop through your tails that end at the beads and double knot the ends.

It should look like this.

Now pinch your loop together so that it looks like this. Leave one piece of twine hanging out.

Wrap that piece of piece of twine we left out several time around the section close to your tail beads. Once you've done this secure you end with a drop of glue. This will insure your tassle doesn't come apart.

Now take your scissors and cut the end of your loop.

You've now finished your tassle for your bottle garland. You're now ready to hang it on your bottle and style. 🙌

I'd love to see your completed bottle garland when you're done! ❤

Happy crafting!
